Is The Procedure Done Correctly??

I read the newspaper when I am on my work today morning, and I came across this news... A Drunk Woman Being Rape By Former Colleague.

The two of them actually went out for a drink together. When the guy went to the toilet, the girl, who is already drunk, went out to of the bar and took a taxi wanted to go home. But as the girl was drunk, she could not give the taxi driver the correct direction. So the taxi driver alert the patrolling police for help.

As the police are trying to get the home address of the girl, the guy at the pub called the girl. The police answer the phone and the guy said that the girl was his girlfriend. And so the girl was brought to the Polic Statio and the guy was told to pick her up from there.

The guy arrived at the police station and took the girl off with him. But instead of bringing the girl home, the guy took her to a hotel and rape her....

Is the policemen doing the right thing? Why the police didn't make an effort to call the family member of the girl? How the police verify that the guy was really her boyfrend when th girl was pickup at the police station? Why the police just handle the drunk girl over in the police station, leting the guys take her when she is still unconscious?

If the family member of the girl were called, instead of asking the guy friend to pick her up, such thing would have been prevented. What do you guys think???

I have recover from my Fever!

The wii was fun!! It is really really sensitive.. detecting the position of the baseball bat when I play the wii Sport, caculating the speed when I swing the bat and much much more!!

Finally!!! I have finish my last exam module on monday!!! Now I'm left with a final year project.

Went to Zoo on Sunday with Bei, because the World Blood Donor Day held a event on that day in the Zoo. It was fun but rather crowded there cause it is a Saturday and plus the admission for those invited to the event are allow to bring along a friend. See quite a few animals that we fail to see that time.

I also went to the PC Fair that day. The crowd are still alright as compare to the few times I go during the past PC Fair. I bought a wii at the PC Fair. Real expensive, but the game was fun and my cousin enjoy playing it.

I'm down with fever since Sunday (I Think...) Didn't really have the mood to study and also don't feel like going to work..

Assignment 3 Finally Finish...

It have been like almost 1 week plus since I last update my blog...

I have been busy with my assignment 3 for the past 1 week. The assignment 3 is due today midnight and I have only manage to complete it like last night 1.30am. I just hope that I can pass this module...

Sometimes it is really hard to cope with work and study. It is like totally got no life at all. Working in the morning, 8.30am to 5.30pm, then lesson at night, 7pm to 10pm. On top of that, assignment have to be finish before deadline and that will eat into the free time where you don't have work or lesson....

This is the attire I need to wear when I'm in the flavor production in the company. The reason is that the place there produce the flavor for food and drink. Thus it is important to have the hair cover with a net and wear a lab coat. The smell of the place... well, just imagine putting a lot of maggie mee powder and smell it...

Anyway, I love my job there.

Monday Bluezzz....

What a Monday... Think this Old Lady in the company is having her PMS or what.. It is like she is the only one affected by the slow network...

This stupid lady called as early as 9am in the morning saying that her Lotus Notes is not responding AGAIN!!! And over the phone, she is saying that she is going to complain to the higher management (What the **** right!!). I hate it when people try using higher management to challenge on all this small matters, and she is the very 1st one who did that. The network of the company is slow what. I'm just someone from PC support, Not a network engineer!!! What can I do?? I myself also have to wait for the lotus notes to open and replicate in the morning.

Also, when we shut down or restart our PC, the data will also be backup to the server. Depending on the data that is going to the server, which means, the more your data, the longer you have to wait. So this act smart lady say something like this: "You mean that if the shutting down of the PC will take 15 min, I need to start shutting it down at 5.15pm? So that I can left work at 5.30pm??" I can't imgine anyone will sit in front of the PC and just wait for the PC to shut down TOTALLY!!! Who will do that??? Well, I think this lady here does that always...

Don't know what is the matter with her. I shall see if the Lotus Note still open "Slowly" tomorrow morning and if she think it is, I will just format away her PC!!!

I think today is just not my day... Hope things can get better tomorow.

Note: To those who need the help of other people in the company, don't just anyhow bring out the higher management to threaten those people. You may have win this time, but the impression you give to the others will do you no good, or worst, you may not get any help when you really need one.

A Nice Weekend...

A beautiful day today! No Rain, and the weather is so good today.

I actually plan to go back to work today, but bei asked me if I can don't go a not. So I make a decision of not going work today...

We went out at 9.30am and catch a 10am movie (The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian) at Jurong Point today. A very nice show with a lot of effect and also funny sence. There are a lot of new characters in the movie. One very "cute and small" character is this mouse called "Reepicheep". He is so small, so cute and he can fight with just a needle-light sword. He also mention that the tail is "The honour and glory of a mouse." It seems like the mouse is Commando Trained (Motto, For Honour and Glory).

After the movie end, we went down to Queenstown area to have our lunch. Bei intro me this thia food somewhere near her work place call "Joe's Kitchen Thai Cuisine". The Food there is nice!!! I love the Seafood Tom Yum Soup, Phad Thai (Thai Fried Kway Teow) and much much more.. It's really a filling lunch.

Then we went shopping @ IKEA. It was fun in the place, lot of interesting stuff and things to see. I think I wil consider buying stuff from IKEA when I have a house of my own... Took some picture quite "un-willingly" in the place... Can you imgine placing a cushion toy crab on my head, making it balance and take a picture? Quite hard right... But I actually did that in IKEA, with some many people around at that time...!!! Feel super funny and stupid..., but it was fun.. haha..

We also we AnchorPoint to shop. Went in to G2000 to shop for some office wear myself. The shirt there are cheaper as compare to the other outlets I have been to...

Really enjoy my day today, thanks to Bei!!!

The stupid Huai Ren...

This is the Huai Ren whom have been taken by my mother since she was a baby. She is currently in primary 2, but my family members will still call her "baby". Haha, not too sure when we can actually stop calling her that. It has become a habit when we call out for her.

Here are the picture she put tissue papers into her ears, not too sure why she is doing that for... And her sister is saying that she is like "猪八戒".

Assignment 2 to An End...

Finally finish my Assignment 2.

Went through the whole assignment last night, found that there are still things that need to be done. I spend through the whole night doing it, dozing of through the night and finish it at around 11.30am. Finally, it is done... And now waiting for assignment 3.

I'm really moody night when doing my assignment.. Everything I did is like wrong. 1st she was saying that we have wan tan mee at Alexandra area, and if it is not open, we can go for the thai food near the area, also not bad. Then come yesterday, she totally change all the initial plan... Wanted to go somewhere else, movie can be watch next time...

What is the thing that woman are thinking?? I don't understand... Suddenly change of plan and wanted me to do the planning again only last night when I'm working hard on my assignment which is due today. Haiz~ really sian~~~

Just hope that things can get better today...

Long Time Since We Last Meet Up...

Went out for dinner with some of my friends yesterday.

I think I have not been to Raffles City Shopping Centre le. It changes so much. There is even a donut cafe there J Co Donuts & Coffee (http://www.jcodonuts.com/). Think must bring Bei there to try the things le...

We wanted to go the the Japanese Restaurant located below Raffles City, but the queue was so long and one of my friend is so hungry that he don want to wait. The concept of the restaurant is smoething like Marche, give you a card and you just walk around (I think...)




Since the queue is long, we change our plan and went to Cafe Cartel to have our dinner. The restaurant is a full house as well, so we sit outside the restaurant, which is rather warm... So just chat there and wait for our food to come. Get some of the free flow bread from the restaurant also. This is actually the 1st time I tried the bread with olive oil. I usually take the bread with butter. Having it will olive oil is no bad.

It have ben quite sometime since we last meet up, cos all of them are studying except for me, who is taking part-time course. All of have finish their exam and having their holiday now, really have lot of things to catch up with them...

Hope the gathering will happen more often... I misses the Lai Lai meeting also, so many things, much fun... Haha.

Looking forward to that Lai Lai..

Aim for This Week...

My aim for this week will be complete assignment 2 by Friday. I missed the previous lecture and tutorial because of work... Now seems like a bit lost, but I think everything should be fine (preying hard..)

Accuracy of Death aka Sweet Rain

Went to West Mall to watc this show today. I find this show really nice. When the show started, the english title actually says "Sweet Rain" instead of "Accuracy of Death". Wonder why they don't just use Sweet Rain, which I think sound rather better.

Takeshi Kaneshiro act as the Grim Reaper in the movie. He will be so happy when music come to his ears. It is like all the reaper in the movie likes movie.

The movie show 3 story in the total. I only manage to find thatit all link together at the very last story.

The 1st story says about a girl whose job is to receive complaint calls, and have been reciving harassing call from some wired guy during her work. It happen that this guy is actually a music producer when find her voice nice and want to make her a singer.

The 2nd story talk about a crime committing mafia leader who has a faithful follower. The follower have alway been trying protect the mafia leader from geeting killed by his enemy. When the guy find the enemy plan that will cost the life of the mafia leader, he went to find the enemy together with the reaper. In the end, the follower and reaper was caught, and the mafia leader came to save the both of them.

The 3rd story is about an old hairdresser who lives alone in the countryside. The old lady actually know that Takeshi Kaneshiro is a reaper and also know that she is going to die soon. Then she request him to fulfill her last wish by asking 7 year old kid to go for hair cut. The lady actually have a son when she was young but abandon him. So this son called her one day telling her that he want to show her her grandson. The son suggest that the grandson can act as a customer but the lady cannot tell him that she is her grandmother... This lady in here is actually the girl in the 1st story and the son she abandon is the follower in the 2nd story.

The script writer is just so powerful to have all of them in the picture. Really 佩服.

A good movie to catch. Go and watch it before you miss it.

A Happening Nite

Bei and I actually plan to go Eski Bar @ Holland Village last night. We reach Holland V at around 8.30pm. When we are on our way down to the place, I heard someone calling out my name. And when I turn around, I saw some of my ex-colleague outside one of the pub drinking away.
We walk over to them, and they wanted to offer the 2 of us a sit. All of them look quite high. Haha. I tell them that we are actually going to the Eski Bar. Then one of them said, to join them later after the Eski Bar, jst give them a call when we are going to find them.

So I shake hand and waved goodbye to them and proceed down to find the Eski Bar. From what I know, the bar should be somewhere at the corner near the coffee club. But it is like nowhere to be seen. I think the bar is no more in Holland V.

So Bei and I walk back to the pub to find my friends. It is like somehow faithed that we have to join them. I was really happy to see them again. All of them have really took care of me when we are working together.

They shift their sit so Bei and I can sit together. We were given the menu by the waiter but have really no idea what to order, so my colleague order beer for us. Beer arrived, we started drinking. At around 10 plus, my friends offer to get me something special to drink. He ordered me Flaming Lamborghini. I was like "huh, what is that?"
The Lamborghini arrived, the waiter lighted it up with a lighter. The flame on the is blue in colour... I was given 2 straw to drink the Flaming Lamborghini with Bei. So put the straw in and start to suck the Flaming Lamborghini. Tasted not bad, a bit warm... Then I pour in the mint into the cup again and use the same straw to drink it. Wow.... The after effect of the Lamborghini happen rather fast. I was still OK at first, but slowly me head start to feel light, but still awake. Bei feel the same way also. Think we both are not really good drinker.

We left the place at around 11 plus. Still manage to get a bus home. Missed all the colleague so much. Some how I wish I have still been working with them....

I use to work in RGS as a IT Support aka Technial Assistant (TA). The working enviroment there is fun, with very good colleagues, temp staff, teachers and students. The latest time I stayed there is till 11 pm, because of colour printing that is needed to be ready for the next day event International Convention for Youth Leaders. Student involve stay till quite late as well, busy preparing the stuff to be printed, doing very very last minute editing, etc..

There is one other time which I stayed till quite late also is during the Campus Superstar last year. One of the student ZhengNing got into the final. The Mediacorp decides to have a live telecast of the final round in the school. That time was fun also. Saw a mountain of Fruit Tree juice being send to the school and there are still alot left after given to all the student. Then have to put all the rest of the fruit juice in the staff room fridge. I think the teachers were shock when they open the fridge ah.. Haha...

All of these will always be in my memory..

Status: At Work...

Finally, it Friday!! I should be going for my lesson actually, but now it seems quite not possible.

Have some "Un-Finish Business" that need to be done by today. So no choice ah.. have to stay and finish it up.

Today still consider not very bad, just that the staging of a machine take really long to finish. Hope that I can run a bit faster so that I'm able to go home early...

Haiz~ Hungry now... Need to order some food for my dinner le... Think I will order call for McDeliver...

Back To Assignment Again...

Check the school website again today. Assignment 2 is finally out. I have been checking it or the pass few days as Assignment 1 handed in to Sat.

What I did not expect is that this assignment is an individual work, different from Assignment 1. Hope I can meet the deadline.

User: "Hey, my laptop is not charging. I have plug in the power, but it is never charging. Can come and take a look?"

Me: "Ok."

When I go over, the cable is plug in ok, but the switch on the wall is switch off...
